From Aongus Mac Cana
This book (published I think by Rhinehart USA) has been banned in Britain & Ireland, because it reveals the involvement by prominent Unionists in Northern Ireland (and the British Security Forces) in the murder of Catholics in Northern Ireland and in the bombing of Dublin and Monaghan. I had to get my copy courtesy of Amazon. Beannachtaí.

From Aongus Mac Cana
Mc Philemy's book was ostensibly banned in these parts because of threats of libel actions, but so far no one has succeeded in seriously discrediting it and Mc Philemy has taken the British Sunday Times for substantial damages because of allegations they made against him. It is a sad irony that the Sunday Times, which used to be one of the most reliable and independent sources of information in the early days of the Northern conflict, has since become a tool of the British security services.

As you say religious conflict and revenge are tough nuts to crack. Unique among our monkey brethren, Homo Sapiens can bear grudges not just for a lifetime, but through generations. It seems to escape a lot of people that you can't get revenge on a suicide bomber. The vengeance, however inadequate, has been prepaid. Beannachtaí
